Meet PEST a 6 felt BUG artist doll by CATHY PETERSON Roosevelt Bear Co OOAK
Just under 6.5 inches tall. 2005 Hand Made in the USA One-of-a-Kind OOAK. This bear is new, stored in cabinet. It has never been played with, it is from the artist's collection.
He is a one of a kind creature, no pattern I just spent the afternoon one day in a bug mood. I do have quite an affection for bugs, as anyone who knows me can attest too. I have whimsical heart, and dream of merriment...
It is expressed with needle and thread. I've always been inspired to sew with felt the way the Lenci and Steiff companies have. You can make truly unique things that get better with age.
Pest is made from wool felt of various colors. He has metal wire arms [2 sets] and legs, he has clear vinyl floppy wings and glass bead antlers. I made him for myself, and now I'm going to share him with you. He is signed and dated on his leather sewn on tag. He was made in 2005, and like any typical 7 year old he's up to making a mess wherever he goes.Nah, just kidding, but he will brighten any spot where you need a little cheer. He is a smile maker. Pest is about 6.5 inches tall. He has lived on top of the piano for quite a while, but now his is in the cabinet while awaiting his new home.
Please note, that while PEST is well made he is meant as a collector item and not as a toy. For safety reasons he should not be given or used as a toy for children."Pest" is wanting to bug some one new... This BUG would make a wonderful gift for the bug, doll and bear lover in your life, even if that is you!!
